Hi Everybody, I went, I looked, I tested. Neither dog was a good match for us. It’s been a long day of driving. Thank you for your prayers in our search for a brother or sister for Kate. We’re going to bed. – Darcie

The right brother or sister for Kate is still waiting to be found. It seems the perfect little dog for us has always come at the least expected time – usually when I wasn’t looking for her. There she was – waiting for a new forever home after losing her people mom to cancer. So we now are a four dog family and everyone seems to fit together and enjoys each others company. Rest up from your long drive!
The reason I only foster herding breeds is because they do not play the same as say bird dog breeds and the majority of lap breeds. They do not play the same as husky dogs either. There are the occasional dog that plays similar but our BCs make up games like one hides an object and the others do go find it. They have races, it is fun to watch but I have to look out the window because if I go out, they all play run to mom.
Hang in there Kate and Darcie, the perfect match is out there. Thank you for driving so far to check out those 2 dogs. As a current foster “Auntie” of Zena Love ( http://www.fencesforfido.org ), I appreciate your effort! Hugs to you both! Woof! Cindy, Otto, Thor and Zena Love.
