Greatest Doggy Grandpa ever!
When I first met Kent’s Dad he told me he was afraid of dogs. He’d had some bad experiences with them when he was young. He didn’t like them and didn’t want them around him. Well, through the years, he wound up loving our dogs, especially Dancer. When she died, it broke his heart right along with mine.
This summer we had to go to a funeral. Dad said, “Bring the puppies to me. I’ll take care of them while you go.” He rolled around the yard with them and played games all afternoon. I think he was a little sorry we got back home so soon.
He was here yesterday training puppies and loving Tilli up! And he’s really, really good at the training. He was persistent with Frankie and she did exactly what he wanted her to do. He was loving with Oliver and Ollie looked right back at him with such respect and admiration.
The dogs think he’s the greatest! He’s like the Greatest Doggy Grandpa ever!
I am so pleased to have him in my life.
