Rosella and Eulis. My angels.
Rosella and Eulis (Aunt Bea’s brother) drove me to Altus for therapeutic massage. I was flat on my back on the back seat with a slipped disc, each way was nearly an hour’s drive. I already loved them, I will never forget their kindness and generosity. What nice people I’m related to.
While I was at the masseuse, I was told about a girl there who had rescued a little dog. It turned out to be a dog she didn’t want. We found someone to foster the dog, they’ll find her a good home. The shelter reportedly had said that if she brought it back, they’d put it to sleep. It was a five year old girl dog, no apparent problems except that, “She’s a dog. That’s not what I expected when I rescued her.” Huh? Too much fake reality TV maybe?

Oliver trying to get Rosella to pet him.
Oliver was just precious with Rosella. She really doesn’t like strange dogs getting on her. Oliver crawled under Rosella’s feet and put his head on the floor. Then he gently raised his front paw and put it around her ankle. He got as low as he could and said to her, “Pet me, Rosella.” She laughed out loud. She didn’t make him move away and when she was ready to go, she went to him for some good bye petting before she left. Everybody loves Oliver.
Every thing that happens, happens for a reason.
